Rhythm or repetition is a way to make your visitors understand the movement in your design and thus recognise the consistency and pattern. The defining element regarding rhythm is the feeling looking at the design evokes. Below are some examples of different rhythms in design.
1. Regular
Can be achieved when the intervals between the elements and quite often the elements themselves are similar in size or length.
2. Flowing
A flowing rhythm gives a sense of movement and is often more organic in nature.
3. Progressive
A progressive rhythm represents a sequence of forms through a progression of steps.
